Perhaps one of the most important tests that needs to be performed on your vehicle every year is your MOT.

We are an authorised test centre, with technicians who are qualified MOT Testers that are regularly audited and must complete an annual reassessment.

The MOT (Ministry of Transport, or simply MOT) test is an annual test of vehicle safety, road-worthiness aspects and exhaust emissions required in the United Kingdom for most vehicles on the third anniversary of their first registration and every year from then on. In most cases it is a requisite for valid insurance.

An MOT involves dozens of checks on your car, ranging from the brakes and fuel system to lights, mirrors, seatbelts, windscreen wipers and exhaust system. It doesn’t cover the condition of the engine, clutch and gearbox. As ALL our MOTs are performed on a live link directly with the DVLA/DVSA we run a timed appointment system. The vehicle should be here prior to that commencement time and takes approximately 1 hour to complete.

Once you join our customer database we send you an annual reminder 28 days before its due to run out so you can book a convenient time to get your vehicles MOT done and any repairs required without losing your vehicles anniversary date.

After we have completed the MOT, if the vehicle has passed, you may pay and take your vehicle at this point or leave it with us to collect later. However, if your vehicle fails its MOT we would contact you to give you an estimate of the costs involved in any repair/replacement, before commencing any work, to confirm your expenditure.
