Our X70 servicing can be carried out according to the Proton service schedule, which protects your Proton warranty if your X70 has one. Alternatively, we can assess your X70 and carry out one of three services we think is appropriate, which are discussed further below. Whichever service you choose, your X70 is in safe hands, and all work carried out is covered by the Bosch 12 month/12,000 mile warranty.

Interim

Our interim service will include an oil and filter change for your X70 as well as an overall check of the underneath of your car. We recommend an interim service for your X70 at least once a year or every 12,000 miles.

Engine

Our X70 engine service includes a change of your oil, a change of the pollen, air, fuel and oil filters on your X70 and new spark plugs too. A thorough inspection of your X70 will also be carried out to ensure it is working at its best.

Full

Our full X70 servicing is recommended every 12 months or 24,000 miles and includes the extensive servicing items which are covered as part of an engine service, as well as the removing of the wheels from your X70 to enable us to strip your brakes, clean and re-grease key parts.

Expert & Honest Proton Servicing Which Maintains Your Warranty

The Block Exemption Regulation came into force in 2003 and since then independent garages have been able to carry out servicing on Protons that are within their mananufacturer warranty period. We will service your Proton to the same specification as a Proton main dealer would, so using JR Motor Services to service your Proton will be easier on your finances and keep your warranty intact. We will update your Proton service log – paper or digital – once your service is completed.
